Scott310 137 Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 Hey Guys! I just wanted to report an issue that suddenly popped up for me. If I choose a file to convert for instance from DTS to AAC the file will convert but it won't get transferred back to the original folder. The option I am choosing is to convert and replace the original file. I am even going to the scheduled tasks and clicking the transfer task as well but it doesn't do anything. The convert Temp folder and the media folders are on the same drive. any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! embyserver.txt
Luke 42089 Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 System.UnauthorizedAccessException: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'G:\Movies\Rise of the Guardians (2012)\Rise of the Guardians (2012).mkv' is denied. at System.IO.FileSystem.CopyFile(String sourceFullPath, String destFullPath, Boolean overwrite)
Scott310 137 Posted November 12, 2019 Author Posted November 12, 2019 (edited) I just checked and there are no restriction on the folder or path. I don't know why it would say that. The server obviously has access to the folder. That is where the library is stored. Edited November 12, 2019 by Scott310
ebr 16199 Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 Is "G:" a physical drive on the machine or a mapped network drive?
Scott310 137 Posted November 12, 2019 Author Posted November 12, 2019 It's an external hard drive connected directly to the server machine.
Luke 42089 Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 Nothing obvious jumps out. We're soon to release 4.3 so I would re-evaluate again with that. Thanks.
Scott310 137 Posted February 18, 2020 Author Posted February 18, 2020 This is still happening. I can choose to convert a file but it does not get transferred back to the original media folder. It stays in the convert temp folder. Both folders are on the same drive and accessible.
Luke 42089 Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 Please provide a new log from the latest version, although granted it will probably just tell us the same thing. Thanks.
