mixdkins 4 Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 Not everyone can use the app from windows store on their pc (I am one of them) would be nice to have the download offline content support for Emby Theater. 1
mbakirov 2 Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 i would like this too! i am going on the airplane and i relized that even if you have downloads, you cannot use them offline! you need to sign into the server. this concerns windows and android apps! it is kinda better on windows as the files are stored in a folder i can find, but why cannot i use it offline on android? it is kinds supposed to support that , because when you select a server, you can select downloads folder, instead but after you do that the server sign in prompt is coming up!
neik 873 Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 @@mbakirov, don't know what Android app you mean (mobile or TV) but on mobile it is possible to watch your downloaded content offline. I do that quite regularly on my commute, actually.
mbakirov 2 Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 how do you do it? ih ave android, i tried to turn all the wireless off like airplane mode, and the emby app requires me to sign into server...
neik 873 Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 If I have the network turned off I see this when I start Emby and can then select "Downloads". Do you not see it?
mbakirov 2 Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 Yes this is exactly what I see but when I click downloads I am asked to login Into the server
neik 873 Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 (edited) Hmm, that's strange, I see an overview of all downloaded files in there. Let see what @@Luke thinks. Edit: Might be worth open an extra topic for it as it is quite off topic here. ;-) Edited February 11, 2020 by neik
Luke 42079 Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 Does this still happen with today's update to the windows store?
