bungee91 133 Posted September 25, 2016 Posted September 25, 2016 I'm having an issue with a new install on a Win 8.1 client, that already has the legacy WMC app installed (but never really used). Premiere key is correct in server settings, no issues on two other Win 10 clients using Theater. I uninstalled Theater on this machine, started new, attempted local login (which just came up on 1st start) and also Emby Connect (same email as registered key), and still get the same message. Logs and screenshot attached, I don't see anything obvious. Thanks. Server Log.txt theater-63610400815.txt
bungee91 133 Posted September 25, 2016 Author Posted September 25, 2016 I installed the UWP app and am getting the same prompt on a computer with Theater installed that works fine. I thought maybe I hit a device limit, so I deleted some, however the issue persists.
mentasm 43 Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 I was getting that issue when my internet was down after a fresh install. Was fine after it was able to talk to the internet again
bungee91 133 Posted September 26, 2016 Author Posted September 26, 2016 Thanks for the info, however no internet issues here, and still broken.. =(
bungee91 133 Posted September 27, 2016 Author Posted September 27, 2016 Tested this remotely and it looks like you got it, thanks!
bungee91 133 Posted October 28, 2016 Author Posted October 28, 2016 Bumping this, technically a new install on another machine, but the exact same issue.. I see attached, server is correct. Logs from Theater attached. Theater Logs.zip
brentsw3 2 Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 Apologies for the thread necro. Is there any known issue currently? Emby theatre getting unlock message with one minute limit, I'm a premiere subscriber. Issue occurring on 2 Windows 10 pc's... My connected Android/iOS devices working fine...
brentsw3 2 Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 Good day Been using Emby for the best part of 2 months now and loving it! Coming from Plex, I'm really enjoying the light weight nature of the software. It seems to be rather frugal on resources compared to it's more illustrious rivals. I subscribed to a monthly premiere account and it's worked as it should, up until yesterday. I'm stuck with the 'unlock feature' message and am limited to one minute playback. I've tested on 2 PC's on my home network, both running Windows 10 version 1909 and get the same results on both machines. Emby theatre version 3.0.10, server version 4.2.1.0. I've restarted the server, cleared cache on both machines, de-registered and registered using my premiere key, deleted devices (although well within the 25 device limit). The issue persists and I'm perplexed as to why. I'm able to access and view my library via the Emby web based portal and also on my Android and iOS devices linked to the account, absolutely no issues there whatsoever. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Below is the log txt file generated on my primary PC running Emby theatre. https://www.dropbox.com/s/imbhxpzr1uquuqw/theater-63709050028.txt?dl=0
ebr 16184 Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 Hi. I can see from our side that your key has not validated in a while. Please be sure you have the right key installed and that nothing is blocking the validation. Thanks. https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/My-Emby-Key-Says-it-is-Invalid-or-Missing 1

Thank you kindly sir! I was using an incorrect key! I totally fluffed my sign up at the time and ended up with 2 subscriptions. I cancelled one but had been using the cancelled account key, until now... all sorted!! 1
