Multiple instances of the same collection

Ok this is driving me crazy!!!

Ive been using emby on my laptop for months. Initial setup was super easy - in short, it just works.

With the help of this forum, Ive now managed to create another server - this time on an xpenology Nas - via docker.

Initially, all looked great - but now -its driving me crazy!!!

i created some collections - lets call them airport, carry on, james bond & star wars.

after allocating the films to their collections, all looks great. BUT if i return to look at the collections home page a few hours later, I have 11 copies of james bond collection, 2 copies of airport collection, 4 copies of star wars collection - yet only 1 copy of the carry on collection.

so - i delete all but 1 of each - and they ALL disappear!!!! - so i recreate said collections and they all ook good again for an hour or so and then we,re back to the beginning -multiple instances again.

ive been chasing my own backside for 3 days now - any ideas anyone?

Devs will probably ask for server logs. In the meantime you should look at the collections.xml file to see if there are truly duplicates in there.

spoke too soon! its Fubared again over night!!!!

followed the above link and yes thats exactly whats happening to me - with the exception that i can access the collections folder from within the metadata folder. [currently, there's no solution been posted as the guy seems to have escaped brexit by running off to italy lol]

Ive tried deleting them all and starting again - for a while it looks ok - than off it goes again!

Any Ideas guys? the ony thing thats consistent is the inconsistency!

each time I start over - its different collections that are affected - though seems more prevalent to ones with more movies in.
