Q-Droid 990 Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 Did anyone have issues with scheduled things after the DST change weekend? Mine did a couple of weird things. 1. Scheduled tasks ran an hour earlier after the time change. Not sure if the running process kept old time or job time is stored as UTC. 2. Scheduled recordings did not run as scheduled. Did not record at all. A restart has the scheduled jobs back on track but I won't know about recordings until later today. That is all...
Luke 42089 Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 Once you restart the server everything should be fine, but yes it's possible that until you did that, there may have been some scheduling issues.
Sammy 790 Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 Turns out I had a major internet outage last weekend starting Saturday morning that blasted my router which I couldn't restore from configuration backup until after the tech left Sunday NIGHT. I still hadn't got Emby straightened away until Monday morning and there were a few reboots in there so I really cannot report if there were issues or not. Resolving DST changes should be automatic though.
ebr 16199 Posted November 6, 2019 Posted November 6, 2019 Different parts of the world do this at different times (or not at all). In fact, you European folks are done with it, correct...?
pünktchen 1409 Posted November 6, 2019 Posted November 6, 2019 Different parts of the world do this at different times (or not at all). In fact, you European folks are done with it, correct...?Unfortunately no. Although the people voted to abandon the time change, the countries can not agree if summer or winter time should be kept.
Q-Droid 990 Posted November 6, 2019 Author Posted November 6, 2019 FYI update: my scheduled series recording stayed gray a full day after the restart and did not record new episodes. It's a daily news show recording, time slot based. I didn't spend any time troubleshooting and recreated the series instead.
