serpi 82 Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 Hi, I'm using EMM (which is mostly targeted for Kodi) to create my nfo files for movies and series, I found that the way, multi episodes files are created in the nfo is not read by Emby. EMM writes a complete set of episodedetails for each episode of the file into the nfo, but Emby only reads the first, so that the other episode (or at least their numbers) do not appear in Emby. As it seems, Emby only can use one (the first) episodedetails per file and needs an extra episodenumberend tag, to display the last number of an multi episode file. I thought Emby nfo would be compatible with Kodi nfo files, as there is nearly no info on the Emby wiki about used XML tags, but as the Kodi wiki says, the EMM way is the way as Kodi defines multi episode files: For multi-part episodes, add multiple <episodedetails> XML blocks in succession in the same nfo file Can this be changed? Thanks & Ciao, Alfred
Luke 42183 Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 Hi, we don't currently support this with nfo files. It's something that's planned for the future, it's just going to require us to rework some things internally in order to get there. Thanks.

Any idea when this may be supported or a manual work around to set the end episode within the UI? Thanks
Luke 42183 Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 I can add the ending episode number into the UI. Thanks.
gillmacca01 220 Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 I know this is a few years old now, but any chance of adding 'ending episode number" to the UI?
