Record a premiere show on two channels?

Is there some workaround/trick that will allow setting up two series on two different channels, where the show is the same? In this example I want to schedule the Grey's Anatomy series twice, once on ABC7WLS and once on ABCWABC. However, once I schedule the series on one channel it will not let me schedule it again on another channel. The only way I can see is to manually tell the second episode to record.

 

If I separate the m3u files into two separate files would it make any difference?

I figure you have a reason, but WHY?

Channel stability. The provider provides lots of the same channel and if you record 2 you have almost a 100% chance that one records.

There is no way currently to do this other than manually.
