Unwanted Halloween theme

Hello Emby support.

Emby server 4.2.1.0 + lifetime license.

My Emby web homepage showed up with new orange and white fonts, I guess for Halloween.

Today is Halloween.  But I didn't change any fonts or themes.

Not sure if there's a setting for that, or if this is an expression of one's limited control over the software.

I'm pretty sure it phones home a lot because it claims to be unlicensed when cut off from the internet.

If I would have disconnected it from the internet - would the homepage still have switched?

How can I get back my regular homepage?

What type of phoning home does your software do, and where can one find its privacy, data collection and sharing policies?

Thanks.

Hi.  Have you explored your user display settings?  You can turn this off there and this feature has no connection with any online access.

Thanks.

I never knew there was a Halloween theme.

I thought it was a virus as the colour settings of windows 10 were affected too.

So I did a restore with no effect of course.

Two day work lost.

Happy Halloween and a merry Xmas.

This setting should be OFF default.

What do you mean?  I do not see any change to Windows on any system I have.  It only affects Emby.

"Settings --> Colors -->Choose your default app mode" changed from light to dark.

My config screen and my thunderbird window went black with white letters.

During my virus scan with Defender the window spontaneously went black with white letters after a couple of minutes.

I changed the setting a few times but the problem kept returning.

If you think the reason your Emby colours changed is because of a virus, you probably shouldn't be running a media server.

Very nice remark, thank you very much.

As you may have read, it was not only the emby colors that changed.

But I have seen stranger things during my 43 software and systems engineering years.

@KickVanelliI have to agree with crusher here.  Do you have a single picture of this happening?
