Suddenly incoming connections show as ipv6 even though ipv6 is disabled

Hi

Since this morning all of a sudden Emby is showing all incoming connections as ipv6 addresses. This should be impossible as none of the devices on my network have a ipv6 address. For example connecting from localhost results in showing access coming form ::1 even though ipv6 is disabled in the network adapter and ipconfig /all shows no ipv6 address (my server runs on Windows 10).

I made no changes except for some vpn failover settings on my router but none of that should affect the LAN side.

Hi, are you experiencing a problem?

I've noticed something similar on my win 10 server.

I have ipv6 disabled on my LAN network as well, however sometimes devices display in the dashboard as connected from an ip like this: '[::ffff:192.168.0.106]:63559'

I have only ever noticed this during disconnects and reconnects from embystat though, which is running on the same machine as emby itself. I don't see this with any other device connected via LAN/WAN

As far as I can tell this is purely cosmetic. I haven't had any actual connection issues.

I don't see a issue but at the same time if it is disable how is Emby using it?  But with loopback address and network address are totally different so it may be a matter of configuration.  But I know mine is suppose to be disabled per registry settings.

No, everything is working well. It appears to be cosmetic only as darkassasin07 mentioned.
