Have you compared your file naming to our supported naming conventions?

Yes, i  changed the tvdb id and did a refresh.

Now it appears correctly, but its not getting the cast and i cant seem to fix the poster image.

Here it is what happens when i try to change the poster:

Do you have a solution for this too?

You would need to post the server log showing the process you used in the video.

Also are all the links actually correct displayed on the series screen?

Yes, all links except the zap2it one, is pointing to the right site. the zap2it link leads nowhere.

I just did the same and attached the server log.

And yes the file naming i use is supported:

\Digimon Tamers\Season 01\Digimon Tamers S01E01

But the episodes and the description is alright, also the logo and the backgrond picture is right.

Its just the cast and the poster which is not working.

EDIT: Just checked the links on the episodes too and noticed that these are wrong, but the title and the thumbnail is correct.

But TVDB says there are no actor images for Digimon Tamers.

Your issues sounds like a metadata issue.  Have you tried doing a Refresh all w/ replace images on the Series?

Ok, thats my bad. Didnt recognize TVDB did not have any cast to begin with.

Yes, i already did a Refresh with replacing images. That wont fix the poster.

Did you check to see that tvdb has a poster? Did you check the settings for your TV library to see what image fetchers are enabled?

Posted

I did and TVDB has 2 posters to choose from and it is enabled as an image fetcher. But that is actually not the problem. If you watch the gif in my post#25, you can see that the manual download of that poster wont work properly.

What image is this?

H:\EMBY\Anime\Digimon Tamers\poster.jpg

That's the right poster, which i downloaded from TVDB and put it in the series folder, to eventually get it fixed that way. But it still takes the wrong poster and i dont know why.

What other images are in that folder?

I already deleted that one cause it did not work, i made a screenshot of that folder. It only contains the logo and the fanart, which is correct.

I can't replicate the issues you are having but what happens if you only have a poster image in that folder, does it appear?  If it doesn't, what image appears?

I deleted the 2 pictures and put the poster in that folder and did i library scan. Now the correct poster shows up, but the backgorund and logo is missing, should i just do metadata refresh or should i manually download them?

In theory either should work, personally I would do a Refresh Metadata/Search for missing metadata.

But from the short video you provided you had to enable other language images so automatic download will not work on images not set in your current download language.

Yeah, i noticed that too. I think the problem was, that the series wasnt showing up, when using german as the download language. You´ll only find it on TVDB when using english or something else, but not german.

Even tho the Episodes had all german titles. After refreshing the metadata i had to fix some thumbnails manually, but this time it worked and everthing is okay now.

Thank you for your help.

Whichever one you want. The metadata refresh will work just fine based on whatever library settings you have configured.
