Custom Genres No Longer Valid?

I USED to have two custom genres (Horror Anthology and B Movie Classics). These extra genres had categories allotted in the genre cleaner plug in and had custom icons assigned. For whatever reason, since past upgrades those categories no longer appear. I realize I COULD also create collections based on these two categories, but that would entail manually adding entries versus automatically adding based on a genre tag. Any ideas as to what the error is?

Can you go over specific examples?  Do the media items still have this genre assigned to them?

Here is an example of the xml code where "Horror Anthology" is listed as genre. The movie shows up as "Horror" but not "Horror Anthology":

Do you have the xml metadata plugin installed?

Who creates your metadata, and what format is it in?  But looking at it I suspect xml, if so do you have the xml metadata plugin install?
