Switch between versions within the player

Is it possible to change the version of the movie inside the player of the movie itself?

 

I wish I could switch the versions of the same movie inside the player, is it possible?

Hi.  No, you would have to go back to the detail screen but you can do that and then resume right where you were.

Okay, but under what circumstance do you actually need to change versions during playback?

I have a cut version and another uncut version of the movie.

In theory it makes some sense, but there would be a lot of complexity to it, especially considering that there are different purposes that multi-version can be used for.

Some people use multi version for quality, others use it for different cuts. Those who use it for quality tend to want it to be more automatic.
