dcol 175 Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 I would like to see the ability to somehow record the same show at the same time from multiple LiveTV channels (Different providers). Right now the way I have to do it is to use NPVR as the second recorder. Maybe there already is a way to do this, if so please share.
Spaceboy 2573 Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 As long as they are on different channels (not sure them being different providers makes any difference) for me this works already and I use it regularly. If I'm recording the football then I'll record on both the main and backup channel. Nothing magical, I just schedule both programs. Both get saved to the same folder, one has a -1 appended Sent from my SM-T510 using Tapatalk

dcol 175 Posted October 23, 2019 Author Posted October 23, 2019 (edited) Mainly for backup/redundancy. I have multiple providers and sometimes one of the streams has an issue during the recording. I only need it for certain shows, not everything. If I can do this, I can get rid of the NPVR plug-in I run from another server. Edited October 23, 2019 by dcol
