Question about connecting to NEXTPvr

Media browser server cannot connect to next pvr

It's installed on the same system? Nextpvr and MediaBrowser

I see you use http://localhost:8866 as nextpvr server.

Yes, but is your next pvr installation on the same machine or on a different machine?

 

If on another machine you need to go to the Plugins --> NextPvr and change the localhost to the ip of the remote server....

What do you get if you browse to http://localhost:8866 on that machine??

looks like there is an issue with your next pvr installation. you might need those guys to help you.

Hello, I have tried the same setup and receive the same error. Did you ever find a solution?

 

-SOLVED-  Checked Web Server in the client settings of Nextpvr. Used server name and password.

Looks like probably a botched install of the web app... follow the instructions on the NPVR wiki for installing NEWA (web interface).  The build that is on the wiki is the same that is shipping with the most current NPVR.
