Update Question Regarding Roku Emby App

So I have a 4660RW which is not on the supported list of devices for the roku 9.2 update so since my roku ultra will not be getting that update and I assume ant others my emby app will not be getting the new updates a either?

 

Or can I manually install a emby update with an SD card like you can on a smart tv using a usb?
