sualfred 677 Posted October 18, 2019 Posted October 18, 2019 @@Luke I had to change the metadata folder path and now I need to have all of my .nfo's updated with the new path substitution. Is there anyway way to trigger a .nfo recreation? I've tried to delete some .nfo's and triggered a library scan but this does not create missing .nfo's. The problem is, that I have manually edited uncountable metadata informations by hand and I don't want to loose these changes by refreshing the metadata. And opening the metadata editor for eachs single library item is...... a job for years. Could you guys add the recreation of the nfo - if missing and nfo export is enabled - in the library scan task?
Luke 42086 Posted October 18, 2019 Posted October 18, 2019 There currently isn't and yes that is something that could be looked at. For an immediate solution you may want to consider a text editor that can do bulk search and replace recursively in your media folders.
sualfred 677 Posted October 19, 2019 Author Posted October 19, 2019 (edited) Yes, but I have to deal with RegEx, because my paths are stored in Linux style with / and it has to be \. And RegEx and I are not the best friends. Another option would be to offer a new option in the metadata update pull down menu -> "rewrite nfo" Edited October 19, 2019 by sualfred
