How to get srt subtitles to show up as an option

While playing the movie, "Back to the Future", encoded with VC-1 on one of my Android boxes, and using subtitles, I get a lot of transcoding.

 

I guess the video has embedded subtiles, because it shows "English(PGSSUB)".  I have added SRT files to the folder containing the movie file, but Emby can't not see it?????

 

How can I get Emby to see the external subs that I added??

 

 

  

 

As you can see, with the subtiles selected, the transcoding is barley keeping ahead of the play back.

Subtitle naming does not comply Emby subtitle rules.

The file name must match the video file name,
