TastyPomme 7 Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 Good morning, I have cleaned up my folders with TV Shows Despite using TVDB naming in English (TV Show - sXXexx - Title) and having TVDB ID and Year in the Folder's name I still have too many shows which are wrongly recognised : e.g. Maigret (1991) set to the 1958 version Humans set to Extraordinary Humans The Bodyguard was set as a Korean TV Serie (Female Bodyguard?) Not more luck with IMDB's IDs in the Folders name. Any way to get 99.9% of correct identifications by naming files? Or Emby not to identify shows if not 100% matching?
darkassassin07 658 Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 When you go the the settings for your tv shows library, is 'The TVDB' at the top of 'Series metadata downloaders:' and enabled?

TastyPomme 7 Posted October 15, 2019 Author Posted October 15, 2019 Before Then it was identified as 1958 And had to identify it through the client to enforce 1991
Luke 42099 Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 Testing that combination it seems to work fine for me. Server is at default metadata settings. We'd have to look at the server log from when it was scanned it.
