Auto download subtitles for libraries from clientside.

I haven't been able to find this info on the forum. Is there a way to auto download subtitles for entire libraries on the clientside? E.G. if someone shares a server with me, would I be able to download subtitles for entire libraries, or is this only possible from the server side?

Someone is sharing his Emby server with me, but there aren't any subtitles present for the movie library.

 

If I go to the web app I can download the desired subtitles for a specific movie manually by searching for it.

 

I'd like to be able to download subtitles for the entire library automatically, so I don't have to search for subtitles individually for each movie or episode of a TV show.

In that case you should just contact the server admin and have them enable the subtitle plugins/settings.

They should also set-up a task for subtitle downloading (time when it starts looking for subtitles for everything on the server).

 

For me it runs a subtitle search on all subtitle plugins (except 1 that I do not need I believe) every night.

Yes this is typically setup by the server admin.
