Krma 1 Posted October 12, 2019 Posted October 12, 2019 Hello everyone, I would like to know if there is a way to change the IPTV protocol, the idea is that you send the data by udp, so it will not be cut in case of a data drop.
Luke 42077 Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 Hi, do you mean there protocol that emby server uses to send data to emby apps?
Krma 1 Posted October 14, 2019 Author Posted October 14, 2019 @@Luke Yes, add the posibility to change the stream on TCP to UDP, im using a weak WiFi network, and when i lost 1 packet it stop the stream, on udp only lost fotograms but continues playing
Luke 42077 Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 On most platforms that isn't even possible. There's no way to send stream udp to a web app, Roku app, smart tv app, etc. Let's look at an example of your actual issue. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. thanks !
Krma 1 Posted October 17, 2019 Author Posted October 17, 2019 @@Luke Thanks for the reply. It is not a technical problem, it is just bad wifi connection. There is another service of a local company that streams by udp, and with this the transmission is not cut unless it is a very large fall. But cable service works excellent.
