Struggling playing one specific file

Hello guys,

 

I am having trouble playing a specific file on an iPhone X, latest iOS and Emby 1.8.3.

 

Here the media info of the file:

Once I try to play the file I get this on the iPhone:

 

 

Attached is the server log for the period I tried to play the file.

 

Emby server is the latest stable 4.2.1.0

 

Anything else just let me know.

Strange. You could try lowering the in app quality setting to force it to transcode.

How would I do that when it doesn't enter the play mode? Is there something in the settings?

 

Using the Web app, Emby for Android, and the Android TV app it works fine.

The only issue is with iOS.

 

Do you think updating to the latest server beta would help?

Don't really know what fixed this but it's working now.

 

What changed?

 

- Server was updated from 4.2.1.0 (stable) to 4.3.0.14 (beta)

- Emby for iOS updated from 1.8.3 to 1.8.4

I'm not sure, nothing specifically related to this.
