Is there a way I can have sonarr send emby the latest imported episode via webhook in sonarr?

Doesn't sonarr already support this?

It supports it yes, I am asking about the specific web address to use for the webhook

Sonarr has a way to 'connect' to emby otb that isn't a webhook

That 'connect' doesn't work.

I would use the connect method and report whatever your issue is.

It was reported and your answer was that at this time it's not working and that you have been in contact with sonarr.

i'll find the thread in a bit

And I thought it was eventually settled.

it has not been settled, no

which is why i'm looking for an alternative(maybe a webhook)

For my own education, what is the purpose of this?

i would say it's a safe bet 50% or more emby users mount cloud drives such as google drive for their media libraries.

the down side to this is 'monitor changes' doesn't work on network drives, so you have to nudge it using something like this.

Does a Connection with an Emby API key not work? This isn't something I use since all of my media is local.

it does not work, which we've mentioned above.

I see. It sounds like something that should be doable using the open API, not that I know how.

What doesn't work?

When sonarr downloads and imports a new file/episode emby’s library is not triggered to update

I would enable the direct to emby support in Sonarr, and then let's go from there.
