ErikaJ 65 Posted October 3, 2019 Posted October 3, 2019 Good Day...I am in the process of moving/copying my server from its current host computer (Windows) to another Windows based computer. I picked up the entire Emby Server folder with its programdata and system folders included and copied them over to the new location. All went well with the exception of the live tv portion. Specifically, there are no TV Sources nor and TV Guide Data Providers listed. Is there something I missed (obviously)? TIA...cheers
ebr 16199 Posted October 3, 2019 Posted October 3, 2019 Something about them must be different. I would just set them back up.
ebr 16199 Posted October 3, 2019 Posted October 3, 2019 Oh - also make sure your Premiere key validated properly...
ErikaJ 65 Posted October 3, 2019 Author Posted October 3, 2019 Thank you Ebr. Yes the P key validated okay.
ErikaJ 65 Posted October 3, 2019 Author Posted October 3, 2019 I got most of it sorted out now except for the channel mapps. Do I need to re-establish the mapping or is there a file which holds this information and I just need to copy it to the new location? TIA...cheers
Luke 42087 Posted October 4, 2019 Posted October 4, 2019 You may need to remap manually. Please let us know how this goes. Thanks.
ErikaJ 65 Posted October 6, 2019 Author Posted October 6, 2019 Good Day...Yes, I took the manual remapping route since I know that works for sure. Didn't take long as I have been through the remapping process so many times for various reasons I can almost do it with eyes closed. Some time ago I created an Excel sheet that contains my mappings for the various MB TV Guide data providers which makes things rather nice. TIA...cheers
