sfatula 207 Posted October 3, 2019 Posted October 3, 2019 (edited) Fresh start of Emby on tvos 13. First, I play an music file, flac, in Emby. It plays as stereo, even though it's 5.1, seems to be a tvos 13 issue). Fine, so, I hit pause, then menu. I get a spinning wheel, so, I hit menu again, and it works this time. So, I play a dvr video, no transcoding, and, ff to the 2 min or so mark, and, I get oops, something went wrong, document not found on stack. The app will continue to do this over and over until I restart emby. In fact, if I menu back up, the top of the Emby screen, the menu, now says home, favorites, search, settings, but if I scroll right to try to go to settings, now it says home, favorites, favorites (yes again), search, no settings. It's really messed up. And it gets worse from there. The file plays in the background, you can hear the sound, but, you don't see it. Edited October 3, 2019 by sfatula

echoxxzz 22 Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 I had same problems. My issue went away after upgrading to 13.2 TVos and I started using the latest Emby Beta client via Testflight.

seanbuff 1315 Posted November 23, 2019 Posted November 23, 2019 One of my users experienced this today on Apple TV, error message with audio still playing in the background Emby Server: 4.3.0.24 Emby Apple TV: 1.4.2.24 tvOS: 13.2 (17K82) When will this issue be resolved in the stable ATV client?
PhillyFanInDetroit 1 Posted November 23, 2019 Posted November 23, 2019 To be honest, I've been having this problem for the last three months, it seems to be occurring only from TV episodes. Going from one movie to the next does not produce this error, however, back to back TV episodes do. The message will pop up about 15-20 seconds after the video starts, the audio continues but the "Oops. Something went wrong..." message occurs with the same "Document not found on stack". The only way to get rid of this error is to completely leave the app, come back in, go to settings and select "Reset App". Only to have to rinse and repeat after every episode. Emby Server: 4.2.0 & 4.2.1 Emby Apple TV 1.4.2.24 AppleTV os: 13.2 (17K82)
Luke 42077 Posted November 23, 2019 Posted November 23, 2019 Apologies for the disruption. We'll have a new update out soon. Thanks.
seanbuff 1315 Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 This one still continues to affect some of my users, so much so that they are not wanting to use Emby anymore. Can we please just push the fix that is in the beta, to the stable channel -- this is literally a show-stopper right now.
Luke 42077 Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 We are actively working on getting our current changes released. Thanks.
ebr 16169 Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 The new version should be released sometime tonight. Thanks. 2
vdatanet 1617 Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 I'm impatient Will there be playback improvements?
