utisz 0 Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 (edited) I've realized that when my router resets or internet connection drops/reconnects, emby server does not change/upcate the remote address, so, all remote connections fail until I restart emby server manually. This becomes a huge problem when, for instance, I'm on holiday and far away from my emby server. (no way to reset the server since I don't have access to the interface any more) Is there any way for emby to update the remote (WAN) access address upon internet reconnect or on a set interval, or any known solution to this problem? utisz 0 Posted October 2, 2019 Author Posted October 2, 2019 When I login to server settings, I see the old public ip address rather than the new one. Even after hours, this ip address does not get updated (on router reset or ip change) So I need to restart the server manually every time.
