jachin99 88 Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 I'm about to reinstall Windows 10 and I want my emby server setup to be as simple as possible after I do so. Off the top of my head I know to install the backup plugin to backup the server and I have .nfo files saved in media folders. Is there anything else I can do to speed up my new installation?
ebr 16185 Posted October 2, 2019 Posted October 2, 2019 Just FYI (because I just went through this) if everything about the environment (machine names, media locations - meaning exact same paths) will be the same, you can probably just pick up your Emby-Server folder and move it over. That should save you some time and avoid some of the things the backup plug-in cannot handle. OTOH - if your installation is quite old and you wish to rebuild from scratch then that is also a viable option.
