Issues with emby repository in China . Can't install. Can't upgrade

Your synology https repo is inaccessible for users in china because for the last 5 months or longer they have blocked all traffic on https connections.

 

The synologycommunity repo works fine without any issues because it is not https based.

I have made this a separate post because you guys should see all your options.

 

1. Host also http://synology.emby.media (http based)

2. Submit emby to the synocommunity repository

3. Give your users the ability to type in there hardware and then download the correct version.

My system is ds718+ with 8gb ram.

I type in the chipset then download the correct package.
