Server Hangs on Live TV Dvr attempt

Hello,

 

I get the spinning emby wheel of death. I have left this for upwards of an hour in the past in an attempt to record something. 

 

This log is produced after a fresh restart - please advise.

I don't see any recording activity here. The only thing I see is an error in the kodi sync plugin, but that won't be related to this.

which is weird. because I actively attempted to record a show via the web interface on the guide page. it just spins.

I quit, I feel like I need to add a secure passcode to record a series. that or give the wife her own damn account

 

next question - why does recording option even show up if it wasn't enabled for the user?

You're right, ideally it should not be there.
