A couple things lacking

Hi

 

I noticed a few deficiencies in the Emby Theater app that lacks features of the web app and Android TV app.

 

First, I don't see a resume button for recordings.  There is one for movies and such, but not recorded shows.

 

Second, while watching a TV show, I don't see how to get info for the show as well as options to view other program listings while watching the show.

 

Am I missing something or is that just truly not in this application?

Hi, you can resume recorded content. Can you please go over an example? Thanks.

For example, lets say I have been playing a recorded show from last night.  I stop it half way in.  I do the same for a movie from my library.

 

When I go back in to view the movie and see the different controls to play it again, I get the choice to either play from the beginning or resume where I left off last I watched it.

 

When viewing a recorded show and then returning to that show, I only get the play button.  There is no resume from or play from the beginning.

 

I do see the correct behavior in the web client as well as the Andriod TV client, so it is specific to the Emby Theater app.
