The thumbnails are distored

Hello guys,

 

I have a problem with thumbnails on my Samsung 7 smart TV. The thumbnails in some screens are rather higher than wider, instead of wider than higher. I dont know if it is crystal clear what I mean, so please check the attached picture.

So your movie images are still images from the videos? What resolution are they? Movie images are generally expected to be 2:3 aspect ratio.

The videos are either 1080i, or 720i. I do not generate or in any way change the generation of thumbnails.

If I edit the wrong thumbnail, it says that the size is 600x336 and the picture in the edit mode looks OK. 

Can you please tell me what other exact information do you need and where can I find it?

Well it looks like you put tv episodes in a movie library so that's one reason why the server was not able to get images from the internet.

 

I would check out our movie and tv naming guides:

If you don't want to do that then I would set the library up as home videos instead.
