SuperMinecraftKid 5 Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 (edited) Im using the default location for transcoding in Windows 10, somewhere in AppData. I just checked on my server via VNC and there was a notice saying I was running low on disk space. My OS is on a 256GB ssd and the transcoding-temp folder was filling it up. 104GB! This was while no users were trying to play media, so I assume there's a problem with deleting leftover transcode files. Any help would be appreciated! I attached 2 emby-server logs. One is long, going all the way back to the last log cycle. The other is short where I started the server and did a few transcoded playbacks. I also attached a couple transcode logs, both picked at random. embyserver-long.txt embyserver-short.txt ffmpeg-transcode-d2de7490-7ecb-4c3b-92f7-52b7bc49e3a9_1.txt ffmpeg-transcode-b6ae5d41-0c3d-47eb-b3d5-ffa19a5bf312_1.txt Edited September 24, 2019 by SuperMinecraftKid
Luke 42083 Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 Hi, once you stop playing these files will be deleted. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.

Happy2Play 9783 Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 So they are old transcode sessions that have failed to be cleaned up? Currently only a server restart will/should clean these orphaned files.
