Emby and DuckDns

Hello fellow emby-ites,

My ISP uses dynamic IP, so this week when my IP changed, no one could connect to the server remotely. I was browsing the forums and came across people suggesting using DuckDNS as a solution. Ive signed up on their site and created my domain. Im just a bit unclear as to what to do next, or if I have to do anything at all.

Do I need to change something inside emby to make it recognize my DuckDNS domain? Or does it update automatically just by having DuckDNS installed?

Typically these types of things run an app on your PC or are tied to your router. When your IP changes it updates the domain record. You give people your domain name which should allow them to always be able to connect.
