Possible to Directly Edit Recording Parameters?

Hi - I've got a situation where I know what channel a game is on tonight but the guide info is not present and I won't be home to manually start recording when the game starts.

 

Is it possible to navigate into a file or database to edit a different show's recording instruction to change some of the parameters so it will record the channel the game is on during the time I want?

 

I had originally decided to 'spoof' the guide info and point Emby to that but editing an existing recording instruction would be much easier.

Yeah, the simple VCR type "time and channel" recording would solve this.

 

Is that considered a relatively high priority or will it be quite a while before it gets added?

 

Just wanting to properly prioritize my need to create a workaround for occurrences like the one that prompted my original question.
