crusher11 1102 Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 Locally or remotely, from any device. I was in the middle of using my server on my phone when a page was taking ages to load, so I closed the app and reopened it, after a long loading screen I finally got the "select server" page, selected my server and was told it couldn't connect. On my PC, I just get a blank screen that keeps trying to load. Trying remotely I get a 504 gateway timeout from CloudFlare. Tried shutting it down and restarting it. Nothing.
crusher11 1102 Posted September 17, 2019 Author Posted September 17, 2019 Tried rebooting the computer entirely. Was able to connect very briefly, but am now getting a "this site can't be reached" error from the browswer and a "connection failure" from my phone again.
crusher11 1102 Posted September 17, 2019 Author Posted September 17, 2019 So it turns out that the only thing running after the restart was embytray.exe, and manually running embyserver.exe allowed me to connect to my server again. What this doesn't explain is: 1. Why embyserver.exe didn't start when the computer booted, the way embytray.exe did. 2. Why embyserver.exe stopped running. Nothing shows in the logs, they just stop. 3. Why embyserver.exe didn't start when I tried to manually run it before I attempted rebooting the machine.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 A wild guess would be CoverArt. But you will probably have to post the log where the server failed to start/started and stopped.

walderik 0 Posted September 18, 2019 Posted September 18, 2019 Yes I was. I was totaly unable to connect to my library. However, I must appologize. This was my computer and new version of Windows 10. I needed to enable SMBv1 on it for it to work with my old NAS properly.
