Horizontal Home Screen Configuration

Hi folks,

 

If its doable, I'd like to request the ability to have more control over the Horizontal Home Screen, please.

 

I'm not sure if this is Samsung TV Emby App specific, but this is the primary app I use and have only seen this on my Sammy TV thus far.

For reference, my Samsung is a UA55HU8500 running Emby v0.122 "(updated 2018-10-11)".

 

Personally, what I would like to be able to change is:

1. Leave Horizontal Home screen section 1 in place
2. Change Horizontal Home screen section 2 (Continue Watching) to 3 tiles instead of 6 tiles
3. Change Horizontal Home screen section 3 (Next Up) to 6 tiles instead of 9 tiles
4. Remove all other Horizontal Home screen sections

At least thats how I would have it if I could. I might even prefer to swap around Sections 2 and 3 so that 'Next Up' goes before 'Continue Watching'!

As an extra, it would certainly also be nice to change the Calendar icon from black and white to colour. Mine also looks a little blurry, but then, that might just be my old man eyes though!

 

Anyhow, not a "must have; won't use Emby without it!", but definitely a "yeah, that would be good to be able to do that!"

 

I'm presently at work, so can post screenshots once I'm home if that would help clarify what I'm on about

EDIT: Oops! I forgot to add that we primarily use Emby for TV viewing, so I'm not sure what having the power to make these changes would do to the other library displays, i.e. Movies, Music, Home Movies, etc.

Have you looked at user preferences (user icon-Home screen) as you can do all that minus the tile limitation per row.  Unless the client you are using does not honor the server Home Screen settings.

You're talking about the screen where all the "Home screen sections" are right? Listed from 1 to 7 and each of those have a drop-down menu, yeah?

If so, yeah!

I've got all of those set to 'None' at the moment and 'None' works when the Home Screen is set to 'Vertical'.

Set it to 'Horizontal' though and even though all sections are set to 'None', everything shows up and fills up the Horizontal Home Screen.

 

My Emby App on my Samsung TV is 0.122. I haven't looked recently to see if that is the latest version or not.

I should check that out.

Yea but those options are meant for the vertical home screen.
