When I log in remotely to connect, no server shows up.  I tried changing the field under "(Optional) Emby Connect username or email address:" to my email address and it fails. It asks me to email apps@emby.media which I did with no response.  Any idea on how I can fix this?

Hi.  Have you already connected this email to another user on your server?

This connect user is already linked to local user Bert

Yes, that's the same user. It had Bert in the email field and I tried to change it to the email for that user (me) thinking that might fix it.

There's an issue in Emby Server in the latest release. If you delete a server from the server selection screen, then Emby Server will never realize it and it will still display the cloud icon on top of that user. So we'll have to resolve that.


 


But the short answer is the user deleted the server from the server selection screen.

Workaround in the meantime is you can unlink it manually in emby server so that emby server becomes aware of it.

To do that - blank out the Connect user name/email field on that user and save it.
