Hoosiers317 16 Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 (edited) So I am in the process of migrating back to Emby from Plex. The only problem I seem to having at the moment is this: I have many movies where I have both a 4K and 1080p version. In Plex, these are merged together and can choose which version to playback on a device. In my Emby movie library, each of these movies are separate or duplicated. I searched and found a thread that seemed to suggest that there is a setting for multiple version, but I can't figure out how to enable it. My "Movies" library has three folders attached: UHD, Movies (1080p) and Concerts. Each folder has subfolders for each movie. Any suggestions? Thank you! Edited September 10, 2019 by jrcorwin
Luke 42081 Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 Hi, the recommended way is to name your files for multiple versions: https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Wiki/wiki/Movie-naming#multi-version-movies If you don't want to do that, you can also use the multi-select tool to group versions together.

Ahh...so they need to be under the same main folder?
Hoosiers317 16 Posted September 10, 2019 Author Posted September 10, 2019 Well if using the naming route, yes. Thank you!
