Braiden 0 Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Hey Emby Fourms, I just discovered the community here. And I was wondering if anyone could help me with installing this? I tried following some docs but i didn't have any luck. Thanks!
Luke 42079 Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Hi, what have you tried? We haven't tested this platform ourselves.

Jdiesel 1431 Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 (edited) Edit I can't post the correct command from my phone without it being modified. Lookup the install instructions for Fedora on the Emby website. Edited September 8, 2019 by Jdiesel

Apt isn't part of Fedora. It uses the RPM package manager. As @@Jdiesel said, you need to change the directions to Fedora on the Emby site (it's a drop-down at the top of the linux page). The Fedora64 command is: dnf install https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/releases/download/4.2.1.0/emby-server-rpm_4.2.1.0_x86_64.rpm Open a web browser to http://localhost:8096

Most likely because I'm installing it on my server from my PC.
Jdiesel 1431 Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 You will need to substitute localhost for your server IP address then
