TheGremlin 68 Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 (edited) Hi @@Happy2Play, I can't group different Versions of Movies in "Mixed Content Mode" -> Trying to use it for Anime. I want to Mix Anime Movies and Series. It don't group it into a Single Object. (See Screenshot-1). The second Version is shown as a own object, but it's unscraped. In Screenshot-1, the first Dragon Ball Movie (1986) is scraped, because I have manually used the "Identify" Feature and typed in tmdb ID manually, to check if it eventually works. But that haven't help to group them together. If you click into one object, I can choose the Version (See Screenshot-2). A Part of the grouping seems to work, but it don't show them as single objects. If I seperate Movies & TV Shows and scrape them as Movies and TV Shows it work. But it would be nice to have Animes as a Single Library Object. Edited September 8, 2019 by Luke

TheGremlin 68 Posted September 8, 2019 Author Posted September 8, 2019 Please delete this here. I have reposted my issue in "Emby Community → Emby Server → General/Windows"
Luke 42080 Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 I would suggest keeping them separate for best results. Then you could use the collections feature to group them.
TheGremlin 68 Posted September 8, 2019 Author Posted September 8, 2019 Okay. That was also the method I used before. Seems Mixed Content is a little bit Tricky.
Luke 42080 Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 We don't have any feature to merge a series and movie together. Your two options would be: Collections Mixed content plain folder view, seeing them together in the same folder The mixed content approach will generally be more complicated and more difficult.
pwhodges 2012 Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 I keep my anime series and independent movies in separate libraries, because I find that easier. However, when there are movies related to a series, these can be combined with the series as specials (I check in TVDB to get the names in a form which will work cleanly). I may combine the methods. E.g., the Evangelion series ends with two movies, and I include those with the series as specials. But the purely movie remake ("Rebuild") I file as movies, and combine in a collection.
