Allow line breaks in description

At present when displaying the description line breaks are replaced with spaces. Why is this?

 

I have a lot of wrestling content, and to be able to display each match on its own line would be helpful.

Unfortunately, there is no "universal" line break character or sequence so anything you put in there will fail to work and possibly display very poorly on some platforms.

In the web app you can use a
tag for a line break but it's not supported in all apps yet.

Good to hear! Does the <br/> "stick" now? I think (if I remember correctly) that when I tried this a few years(?) ago it seemed like any html would get stripped out eventually (I can't remember the exact trigger for when it seemed like that would happen).

 

Also, are both <br/> and <br> accepted? Or just <br/>? Both are valid html, and <br> is considered more "current" in some ways (eg, html5).
