S0mbrero 1 Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 (edited) Good evening, for the past few weeks (possibly since the update of Emby server to 4.2.1.0 but I can't say for sure) Kodi on my Nvidia Shield doesn't do a startup sync anymore and I can't figure out why. Manual library updates work just fine. Kodi companion is activated in the Emby for kodi settings and the companion plugin for Emby server is installed as well. My setup: - Emby on a Synology DS218play - Kodi 18.4 on Nvidia Shield What I've tried so far (to no avail): - Both repairing and completely resetting the library / local database of Emby for Kodi - deinstalling and reinstalling the Companion plugin for Emby Server Any ideas? I know it's not the worst problem since a manual update can still be done but it takes 5-10 minutes every time and a working startup sync is just so much easier. Plus, it used to work just fine My kodi logfile is attached. Thank you already for any help! S0mbrero kodi.log Edited September 5, 2019 by S0mbrero

Angelblue05 4132 Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 Update the add-on to the latest version. You are still on 4.0.5 which is quite old. https://github.com/MediaBrowser/plugin.video.emby/wiki/FAQ#i-cant-see-the-latest-update-for-emby-for-kodi

Weirdly enough, my Kodi doesn't find a new version of the add-on to update. Should I manually download and update via zip file?
Angelblue05 4132 Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 Follow the steps. You are probably behind on the repository version. 1
