Help, media library scan recognition is not normal

My problem is not caused by naming. I manually edited the media library, entered the standard movie name and IMDB number in the recognition page, and still showed that the video could not be searched.

Try entering the MovieDb id instead.

You can not enter metadata on a folder.  Do you see the actual file when you expand the BDMV folder?

 

Also note IMDB is never used as they do not have a free api.  The imdb id is only used to query item via TMDB and OMDB depending on your library settings.  And only returns results if that id is found via their api search.

thanks。First, expand the folder to have the actual file. Once it is placed in the movie media library, it can automatically recognize the playback. Secondly, the MovieDb ID can not be searched. Finally, in order to search, I added all the metadata databases that can be used in emby. For example, imdb, douban, tvdb, etc. What should I do now? I always recognize the video on the recognition page. And this problem only appears in the documentary, other movies, TV media library is normal. I have such a problem no matter what structure I use to deal with the documentary.

You will probably have to post a server log so we can see the search queries you are doing.  IMDB is not a metadata option anywhere in Emby.

 

Going off the image you posted above what do you see when you expand BDMV folder?  I assume you see the file as you can not apply or search for metadata on the folder you have highlighted in that image as that is only a folder.

If I put this Blu-ray folder into the movie media library, I can recognize that it can be played, and in the documentary media library (mixed structure) is a folder. This option does not appear to be recognized. On the one hand, the documentary media library does not recognize the BDMV film. On the other hand, it does not allow me to manually edit and identify. In addition, there are some documentaries that cannot be recognized by hand editing anyway. I really don't know what to do. I will collect the logs and put them up.

Try taking out the MakeMKV sub-folder and then run a library scan and see if that helps.
