saitoh183 137 Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 I caqnt see them in the dashboard anymore and im guessing its because of there size. Any way to tell it to create a new file after it reaches a certain size? Debugging is off
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 The server creates a new log file every time it is restarted. You can restart and then delete the older logs.
AdrianW 1058 Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 Back in the early alpha days, I'm sure there was a scheduled task that could be configured to start a new log - which by default started a new log every 24 hours. Not sure where that went.

Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 If you are running Media Browser as a service, you can use net stop and net start commands in a batch file to do this as well. Then you can use a scheduled task to restart Media Browser while you sleep. 1

Yeah thats what i figured i would have to do but i think the extreme log file size is due to this error repeating itself non-stop 2014-06-03 10:45:33.1052 Error - ProviderManager: Error in Media Browser Xml.IsEnabledFor Unable to cast object of type 'MediaBrowser.Controller.Entities.TV.Episode' to type 'MediaBrowser.Controller.Entities.Game'.
