lost all my collection

Hi,

 

I changed my hard drive for bigger one and changed the directory of all my movies.  This seems to result in a complete lost of my collection.  Is there a way to retrieve that list and update it to the new directory.

yes edit the collection.xml files with the new path

 

collections are in the ..\data\collections folder

The collection are still there but I can not see a .xml file.  In the collection folder there is multiples folder (all my collection films)  and in each folder there is a .xml file for that specified collection.  

 

When you said to edit the .xml files did you mean those .xml file.   I have 5 dozens of then...  is there a way to batch edit all those file at once?

yes each collection has its own xml file in each collection folder

 

any good text editor will do and allow you to edit the paths for multiple files at once

Yes, it work,   I wish there was a single file to edit but what can you do.....  It took me 30 min to edit all my 100 .xml files and everything is back to normal.
