Live tv: easily access last channel viewed

Such a common command on a traditional tv remote is to go back or view the last channel you watched. It makes it easy to switch between shows or movies during commercial breaks.

 

This would be awesome to see with the live TV feature.

 

Instead of having to access the guide and scroll all the way up or down to a channel you we’re watching last, you could switch back-and-forth between last two channels by simply having a back or last channel viewed feature.

 

I know there are a few things that probably need to get done first including an actual TV Guide on the Apple TV app. I have both a Roku and AppleTV and will admit that the Roku interface is much nicer when it comes to the guide.

 

I still would like to hit the down arrow when viewing a channel and next to the guide button, have a button to access the last channel. This way I can easily go back-and-forth between content that I’m watching.
