strobe 0 Posted August 30, 2019 Posted August 30, 2019 (edited) Hi there First off, thanks for this great piece of software, I've been using Emby for years and am very happy with it. Just recently I have started experiencing a weird issue. There is one single show that started acting up a couple of days ago, meaning that I am unable to playback any of the episodes of a single show any more. I have watched the first 6 episodes of this show with no issue and now none of these and nor any other episode plays. What happens is that when I select an episode, the screen just turns black and only the controls are available. A couple of seconds after the cover picture shows with the loading icon, it disappears and then nothing. No error messages whatsoever. Every other movie or show I have verified works. ALSO, this issue only occurs on my XBox One, on my Laptop with Firefox Webbrowser the whole show works as intended. I have already tried: * Reinstalling the app and restarting the XBox. * Emptying the cache folder /var/lib/emby-server/cache * Removing the library.db file and completely rebuild it /var/lib/emby-server/data/library.db * Upgrading the server to the latest version 4.2.1.0 * Emptying the sync folder /var/lib/emby-server/sync The attached error log shows following * start emby server * opening xbox app * playing broken episode (same with each and every one of the same show) * playing working episode of different show * closing xbox app * opening emby from browser * playing broken episode from earlier * closing emby from browser * stop emby server I am running out of ideas how to fix it and hope this is enough for someone to identify the issue. If you need any more information, ask away. Thanks in advance, strobe Edited August 31, 2019 by strobe
Luke 42077 Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 Hi there, that's very strange. Did you forget to attach the log? Thanks.

Luke 42077 Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 Hi there, was there an ffmpeg log? Can you please attach that too? Thanks !
strobe 0 Posted September 3, 2019 Author Posted September 3, 2019 (edited) The logs from the same day have already been rotated but I repeated the process and no ffmpeg log was created, only one for hardware detection. I still attached my whole emby log directory. I'm on holidays for a week now so wont be able to reply in a timely manner. emby.tar.gz Edited September 3, 2019 by strobe
Luke 42077 Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 Can you provide a sample video for testing?
