How do i zoom the movie if played in webbrowser

Hello all,

 

if i play some movie on my monitor 21:9 i have this really bad black border. On player like mpv i'am able to zoom the movie in the correct size. But how i can do this if i playe something in an webbrowser like Firefox...? I did'nt find something that can do that.

 

Can anyone help me with?

Hi, we don't currently have options for this in the web app, but many of our native apps do have these options.

Web browser video players don't have API's for this anyway, so any zooming options would require forcing transcoding just to do that.

The Emby web app will have aspect ratio adjustment in the video player in the upcoming Emby Server 4.3 release. Thanks.
