vaise 340 Posted August 31, 2019 Author Posted August 31, 2019 Maybe I was not clear. One ipad does not even show the downloads - as if it is not enbled in the profile. My one (when logged on as the same user) does show the downloads option. I have found their ipad is not on ios 12 (it is 9.x), which may mean they are stuck at an old emby app level with no downloads available. I am dealing with them over messenger - and the time diff to me is a bit of a killer.
samuelqwe 317 Posted August 31, 2019 Posted August 31, 2019 (edited) Older devices don’t have the download function, I believe. It seems to only be available on devices with iOS 11 or higher. My iPad 4, for example, is on the latest Emby app, but since it’s on iOS 10, I don’t have the option to download. Edited August 31, 2019 by samuelqwe
Luke 42077 Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 Yes that is correct, sorry I misread. The download feature is for iOS 11+. The app is still getting updated, but at this point with iOS 11+ at 95% market share it is unlikely we'll be building it for the older iOS versions.
