TV Series recordings persistence

Hi, running W10 Server and Windows Theatre. 

 

I have a question regarding the persistence of a series recordings from TV. 

 

After a season ends and there is break before the next season does the series setting remain and automatically pick up the next season or is the series setting automatically removed??

 

I seem to have lost a few series in the series tab of live tv, specifically those that had nothing to record beyond the guide.

 

Will keep a closer watch on this to confirm behaviour.

PS May be my imagination as I have only just transitioned to EMBY  (about 2 weeks now)from WMC and transferred all the WMC recordings and set up all the Series recordings that were current, and the ones I am missing may not have been current in the guide.
