gid 0 Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Hello folks, Up to just yesterday i was able to playback video shared from my Win7 PC to my "Smart" LG TV. Today I can't, I get an error "file not recognized" on the TV. I have restarted Emby server (version 4.2.1.0) many times, no luck. It runs on port 8096. My PC is 192.168.1.2 on a wired LAN, my TV is 192.168.1.4 via WiFi on the same LAN. The list of movies is shown fine, it's when I try to playback that I get the error. I also run SmartShare on the PC. I have tried Emby playback without SmartShare, no difference. Trying to playback via SmartShare (the LG-sanctioned choice) gives the same error. I have installed Emby because I had trouble syncing between TV and PC when I used SmartShare. I had the exact same problem last week, and restarting Emby and SmartShare solved the problem. Not today though. In the logs I see this a few times. Does it help? Thanks a lot for any clues! 2019-08-27 23:31:09.086 Info HttpServer: HTTP GET http://192.168.1.2:8096/dlna/c88cab096bc7465bbc19351ed4126e6d/description.xml.
